Good health for all…

We are aiming at reaching vulnerable mothers, children, and adolescents all over the country by strengthening health systems. This includes: the distribution of medication and medical supplies, working alongside the Ministries of Health to address pneumonia and diarrhoea and providing nutrition awareness and education to mothers. Our areas of focus include: Training and Equipping community health Volunteers to provide emergency front-line care and the most essential life-saving interventions which prevent child deaths as a result of preventable diseases like; diarrhoea, pneumonia and malaria.

Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition: helps to identify and initiate treatment for children with acute malnutrition before they become seriously ill. Caregivers are trained to provide “Ekitobeero” (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food) and routine medical care. Channels of Hope programme helps local faith leaders promote preventative practices and encourages the development of good habits and fights the cultural stigma surrounding diseases such as Hydrocepherus
