Objectives
The Ray of Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in Oregon, USA in 2003 whose objectives are to:
- Promote access to and the delivery of quality medical care to under-served populations around the world
- Promote sustainable grassroots community based projects that improve the basic quality of life for people in the developing world especially in regards to water, sanitation and basic health services;
- Promote cultural and educational exchange programs between the USA and other global communities' medical and educational personnel and volunteers
- Promote the flow of medical supplies, medicines and related expertise to organizations around the world working with vulnerable and underserved populations
- Provide structured educational learning opportunities for students and volunteers around the world willing to actively participate in alleviation of poverty, disease and suffering
- Conduct research directed towards improving the health care and living conditions of the underserved communities
- Promote infrastructure support to community based educational and healthcare programs around the world
